Christmas Parties

I'm cute and I know it!
Polar Express at the Fort Worth Club
Breakfast with Santa at FWC
Zoe's Christmas Party at her school....and best bib ever!

Papa C and Mamie came to my party!

Zoe had 2 photos with Santa....one at school and then the one at the FWC. I wish I could figure out how to change my pdf file pictures to upload to the blog, b/c they are priceless. She was not a fan of either Santa and is crying her head off in each....classic pictures!

11 months

Well, I can't believe we only have one more month until Zoe will be 1 year old. This time last year, I was very very pregnant, counting down the days, wondering will I have a Xmas baby, a New Years baby, a baby at all b/c I thought she would never come. My due date of Jan.4th came and went, and then on the 11th, our perfect little girl finally arrived. It is all so surreal. It is truly amazing to see what each month brings. At 11 months, Zoe is:
- still crawling all over the place
- standing for a few seconds on her own, until she realizes she's standing and sits down
- walking all around the furniture and pushing her toys across the room
- still only has 2 bottom teeth
- was 20 lbs, 10 oz. about 2 weeks ago
- developing favorites: such as the Where is baby's belly button book above
- on almost all table food, pretty much eating whatever we eat....I'm slowly but surely getting rid of all the purees
- the flirt of her class: there are 4 boys and they all love her....she has lots of boyfriends (I think we're in trouble)
- she's babbling more and developing quite a little attitude: she'll let you know when she's not happy (exhibit A above)

- she's sleeping through the night again (hallelujah!)....turns out our sleep regression a few weeks ago was yet another ear infection (I think that's 3, maybe 4 now...ugh!)

But most days, she's pretty near perfect....learning new tricks and being the sweetest, cutest little thing that we love so much. Can't wait to celebrate her first Christmas and then her 1st Birthday....oh mon Dieu!

Cutest. Dress. Ever.

I know right? Wait for it, it gets better.....

Check out my snazzy shoes. They only stay on my feet about 0.2 seconds until I rip them off, but Mommy seems to like them.

Thanks VV!

This is the only family shot we got from Thanksgiving.

Whhhaaaatttt? 10 months old- really?

So Friday was Zoe's 10 month birthday...we only have 2 onesie stickers left, tear! She is getting to be so much fun. She recently moved up to the infant 2 class with all the crawlers. She is babbling up a storm, she likes to roar at us actually. She is crawling with her butt back up in the air like she wants to stand up so I feel like she might be an early walker. Her teacher, Miss Carmen, said she actually took 2 steps the other day but I didn't personally witness it so I'm not counting it. She takes 2 bottles of formula at school and is on table food with the occasional puree for the rest of it. (Side note: we made it bf'ing a little over 8 months, then one day there was this biting incident which may or may not have required a bandaid so I shut down the milk factory after that! I was sad at first but then I quickly got over it. It's amazing how liberating it is to be boob-free! And even though I didn't make my goal of a year, I did make it post6 months working full time which was quite the feat so I feel good about it. Ok, enough about my ta-tas....moving on.) Back to eating, her gag reflux is ultra sensitive so we have to be careful with how much she gets at one time, but she has still yet to refuse any new food and will eat whatever we give her. She's been going through a bit of a sleep regression lately, waking up pretty much nightly around 3 am which is not cool. I'm thinking it might be teething- her top 2 are about to break through- but who knows. She'll take a bottle and go right back down most of the time, but still, I miss the 5:30 am wake up call in which she would take a bottle and sleep til 8 (it looks like a war zone most mornings by the time we leave for work...toys everywhere trying to keep her entertained!)

Bear, you so funny!

Zoe's 1st Halloween

Z's first Halloween was a huge success. We started the festivities on Thursday by going to the Fort Worth Club's annual Halloween party. We met Dayna and her kiddos and had a great time. They had all these little treats for the kids, including a pink pony that Zoe was not a fan of.

Then on actual Halloween, her school had a big trick or treat parade. They loaded up the little ones in the bugaboo and walked around the neighboring businesses and handed out candy. It was so fun....Taylor and I really had a great time seeing all the little ones in their costumes and meeting their parents. Zoe had a costume change b/c she puked all over her ladybug costume at the club so luckily we had a hand me down from Ethan....and I think I even liked it better!

Nevie's saying, "I'm telling you Zoe, the chicken came before the egg...trust me"

Sunday Fun-day

Yesterday it was beautiful outside so we wanted to do something outdoorsy. We decided to take Zoe to the park. She loved the swing and the slide!

I watched my mom throw a mean spiral ;)

Pumpkin Patch 2011

Get ready for picture overload!! Last Sunday we went to Hall's Pumpkin Farm in Grapevine and it was photo op galore! Pumpkins, corn maze, farm animals, you name it....just good ol' fashioned family fun! Zoe was so over stimulated she didn't know quite what to do with herself but it was a fun tradition to start and I think we will definitely make it a yearly occurrence.

Children of the corn.....I think this is probably Taylor's favorite picture I've ever taken ;)

peek a boo!

I have so few quality photos of the 3 of us so this picture makes me really happy!
